dibblethewreckerI've had my "IndieWeb" site up and running for a few years but I'm still a bit confused about "accounts" when it comes to accessing other people's content
dibblethewreckerI have IndieAuth up-and-running, and my site can be followed via ActivityPub from a client like Mastodon. But if I want to follow other ActivityPub "feeds", I still need to use a client, like Mastodon, and if I don't want to run my own instance, I still need an account (on like mastodon.social), right?

[tantek]dibblethewrecker++ sounds like a good setup! Sounds like there are some interesting technical challenges that you're finding with those protocols, might be more folks who can help in the #indieweb-dev channel. And welcome!
capjamesg> But if these new ‘crackdowns’ are managed by poorly trained bots who cannot even distinguish my voice from one platform to another, and are working to punish the people doing the good thing and platform the people doing the bad thing, I see less and less reason to be there.
