[morgan] I love there is so much discussion here about like making your own tools and reconsidering paradigms of readers and stuff. I know thats what this whole place is about but like, its just such a regular thing its impressive.

jorisvandijk I am always tempted to join these things, but never do. It feels too forced or something, I dunno. Not quite me, maybe.
#
jorisvandijk Maybe I should give it a go some time... not right now though
#
jak2k I'm migrating over 1000 bookmarks to my website. Maybe I could also add some to such a blog post… But that feels a bit duplicated.

#
[tantek] where are you migrating them from?
#
jak2k I have 280 bookmarks in my linkding instance and more than 700 unread posts in my FreshRSS instance that function as bookmarks too.
#
jak2k And I have to migrate them manually because I change how they are categorized.
#
jorisvandijk jak2k anything worth reading for others? :)
#
jak2k Probably yes. I'm slowly working through them.
#
jorisvandijk Absolutely post the blog post. Hit me up when/if you do too
#
jorisvandijk These kind of things are gold mines
