New version of Kirby (2.5.0) mentions IndieAuth in the list of passwordless authentications now possible with their new `$user->loginPasswordless()` https://getkirby.com/changelog/kirby-2-5-0
#
sebsel
(but yeah, they where at IWC Düsseldorf an wrote about it already, so maybe no surprise https://getkirby.com/docs/cookbook/category:IndieWeb)
#
sebsel
wants to create an all new webmention plugin for Kirby that is compatible with more than just his own site.

Maybe make a plugin that will let people use IndieAuth for passwordless authentication? ;)

#
[sebsel]
Zegnat I was going to say that's what they wrote about, but no! :) https://getkirby.com/docs/cookbook/relmeauth
#
[sebsel]
Still, having an IndieAuth plugin might be confusing, for what would it do? Login people in to their account on Kirby by using IndieAuth? Or enabling an IndieAuth endpoint on their site so they can use IndieAuth on other sites?
#
[sebsel]
Sounds like two plugins there :)
#
[sebsel]
hm, they also make the IndieAuth/RelMeAuth/IndieAuth.com mistake in that cookbook-recipe too.
#
[sebsel]
"IndieAuth[.com] is a service that makes it easy for sites and services to offer login with RelMeAuth. The two terms "RelMeAuth" and "IndieAuth" are often used for the same thing."

Something has been eating CPU on the wiki server for the last 8 hours. I just got on a plane so I will check when I land in Reykjavik in about 2.5 hours

That’s fine aaronpk :) I’ll keep an eye on this channel then

https://indieweb.org/feed#Backward_Compatibility recommends AS "note" vs "article" markup. why make that distinction/what uses it?
#
tantek
sknebel: it has been a while since I think I wrote that up
#
tantek
I'd need to take another look at it
#
[miklb]
GWG I’m not seeing a way to export a single post XML in WP, would a sql dump be OK?
#
[miklb]
nvm I added a unique category to the post so I could export just the 1
#
tantek
miklb perhaps post permalink URL with h-entry -> (some RSS munger) ?
#
[miklb]
he needs to see all of the properties passed from micropub and stored in the DB

not what is currently displayed

Bookmarks? Quotes?

voxpelli: or you could link to /posts :)
#
tantek
also "overhauling my Jekyll Webmentions plugin " and "captured all of the types" implies determining post types from webmentions, which sounds a lot like: https://www.w3.org/TR/post-type-discovery/#response-algorithm
