#tantekis there a more generic term than "timeline" (too specific), or "news feed" (too FB specific) for the stream of posts aggregated from your friends / followings?
#LoqiA stream refers to a collection of posts, typically time-ordered, similar to a feed, and often updated in real-time, with updates propagated via a notification-based protocol like WebSub, and published as HTML (h-feed/h-entry) https://indieweb.org/stream
#LoqiIt looks like we don't have a page for "MSN Messenger" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "MSN Messenger is ____", a sentence describing the term)
#gRegorLoveOh wow, I'd forgotten about that on Twitter
#Loqiok, I added "https://www.bizfilings.com/toolkit/research-topics/running-your-business/how-to-use-twitter-for-business" to the "See Also" section of /nudge
#Loqiok, I added "http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/social-media/10276924/10-most-annoying-social-media-features-of-the-past-10-years.html" to the "See Also" section of /nudge
#loqi.meedited /nudge (+127) "tantek added "http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/social-media/10276924/10-most-annoying-social-media-features-of-the-past-10-years.html" to "See Also"" (view diff)
#[eddie]!tell kevinmarks: good ideas for h-card actions! I’m not familiar with xfn lists. What would that require? Is that something that can be sent over Micropub?
#[eddie]sknebel, it’s an iOS share extension. When you are on a page with an h-card, h-entry or h-event, it parses the page and provides different micropub actions to send to your server based on what type you are looking at. h-entry and h-event have some basic expected options (like, bookmark, reply, etc)
#[eddie]But I’m thinking through what to do when it’s someone’s home page (save their information to your phone’s address book, send a message (reply), eventually follow (via microsub), etc)
#ZegnatSame, GWG. But I will also not learn Java, so I am never going to do it.
#ZegnatI might look into the webapp road though. I am impressed by the Twitter web app
#[eddie]There is a guy on micro.blog that is developing a micro.blog client. I’m assuming it will support creating micropub notes however, I don’t know how in-depth it’ll go on other IndieWeb tech

#Loqifollow is a common feature (and often UI button) in silo UIs (like Twitter) that adds updates from that profile (typically a person) to the stream shown in an integrated reader, and sometimes creates a follow post either in the follower's stream ("… followed …" or "… is following …") thus visible to their followers, and/or in the notifications of the user being followed ("… followed you") https://indieweb.org/follow
snarfed joined the channel
#[eddie]kevinmarks: Yeah, as microsub grows I think a microsub follow command is the way to go
#LoqiACM Hypertext Conference is an annual academic conference on the subject of hypertext and typically the web, where both XFN and XMDP were presented in poster sessions in the mid 2000s, and long ago HTML was submitted but rejected; and their event sites for some years either died or were taken over by squatters (like ht04.org for 2004) https://indieweb.org/ACM_Hypertext_Conference
#gRegorLoveHeh, from this XML feed: <description>Just another WordPress site</description> (default WordPress description)...
#@rechelon@gRegorLove This is a product of the blade my server was on getting corrupted and me falling back to a gitpage setup I'd been backing up to. I'm not sure I'm going to repair it because I'm now deeply in love with my entire site being a repo. (twitter.com/_/status/947231668263358464)
#gRegorLoveI'm using websub.rocks to test adding WebSub to my homepage. Subscribed successfully, but isn't registering notifications. Does it only show notifications if there's new content since the subscription?

Here’s the latest version of my quick-reply bookmarklet. It lets me reply to any URL now, not just tweet URLs.

#tantekInterestingly, I'm seeing even a bigger difference on a search for "The French Divide" than Donald did in his screenshot
