[tantek] GWG, if you read the comments on his Indy Map post (behind the scenes) you'll find someone did something similar with Gowalla checkins (which is not really reflective of actual transit, but the UI had roughly similar aims) that uses an acapella re-make of the Raiders theme music, presumably released under a remixable license
