[jgmac1106]thanks tantek, off the top of my head I was thinking each piece was an h-ietm and location got a dt-updated when moved, glad to see some thinking....internet chess club...really expensive now
jamietanna[m]Should the Micropub `q=config` endpoint require Authentication? The examples in the spec have it specified, but I can't see anything in there that should require authentication
myfreewebi always thought of micropub-as-a-whole as requiring authentication, and parameters like that only influencing authorization (e.g. create/update/delete permissions)
[tantek][jgmac1106] presumably your PR is reflected in the fork of the plugin on your own GitHub account, so that arguably counts as "shipping", and publicizes it helps make more IndieWeb community members aware of it so they can maybe even test your fork and help approve the PR to upstream
jamietanna[m]Thanks folks, I've left my config endpoint public for now, but will close it down if I start to put anything in there that shouldn't really be public
[tantek]snarfed, would that explain a longer than expected request time (or failure to return) from calls to Bridgy Publish recently? (e.g. last night Bridgy Publish to Twitter and Flickr both seemed to take a lot longer than usual)
marinin[m]I'd try to expand it, I want one of the articles of '24 days of IndieWeb' to be about 'here is how I exported my content from a silo, and boom — put it on my website, step by step'
[tantek]aaronpk, rather than taking on that burden yourself ("part of me wants to spend a day"), consider describing that as a goal / desired outcome on /wikify that others can help make happen, perhaps link to pages by creation date, oldest first to give folks a list to start going down, and encourage definition expansion (many old ones need it) instead of deletion (worth asking in meta about)
