mblaney I think the extra step from indiepay.me would be to select an issuer when you log in. ie it's not just person to person.

mblaney yeah but when I log in, I would want to select you as an issuer, maybe you provide a list of badges that I want. I then request one by showing you I have fulfilled requirements for it.

mblaney it's a discovery problem. a badge earner is only logging in because you've told them how to collect badges.

[jgmac1106] I was thinking the request includes a u-in-reply-to the listed criteria of the badge. I say I want this (reply) and here are links or descriptions of evidence describing how I met that criteria
