#@bixtweetsThis is how I’m thinking about displaying trackbacks, pingbacks, and webmentions. Although, truth be told, I don’t really get any. The entire item would be the link to the post which sent the ping, to make it easier. (twitter.com/_/status/1270566656646033411)

#jackybeen collecting some sites whose designs really stand out to me for inspiration as I read / skim "Refactoring UI" (by the Tailwind people) and "hello, startup"
#LoqiIt looks like we don't have a page for "design examples" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "design examples is ____", a sentence describing the term)
#[snarfed]sounds like much of the delay is that pfefferle doesn't have much time available for wordpress plugin work? PRs wait weeks, months, to be merged?
#[snarfed]that seems...not ideal. remind me if you've asked him to add you as a committer, so you don't have to block every PR on him?
#GWG[snarfed]: He can handle small PRs, but everything with mf2 is larger
#[snarfed]i'd estimate that the slowness of development is more harmful than any benefit you currently get from reviews
#GWGI will make my next project cleaning up my outstanding PRs though
#[snarfed]ie, does he often have useful feedback in the reviews, that result in meaningful improvements to the PRs? or are the reviews usually rubber stamps?
#GWGI think I have one where I didn't do what he asked in IndieAuth
#GWG[pfefferle]: The design is hard, and the combination of work, timezones, etc...
#[snarfed]ok! thank you both for working on it. we appreciate it!
#[snarfed]you two know the details better than me. it just makes me sad that we've known for years that the plugin split is bad for UX, and agreed for years that we plan to merge them, and yet it still hasn't happened yet
#GWG[pfefferle]: I am not blaming you, just really wish we could figure out how to proceed
#GWG[pfefferle]: While you are here, since the mf2 pr is stalled, I may do some unit tests, which should help you feel better about the code
#[pfefferle]But it is not that easy to merge both. We did a lot of things wrong for the sl plugin (comment types, reactjis, ...)
#[pfefferle]It does not make things better if we simply merge them
#[snarfed]i think, net, it would definitely make things better for _users_. if it doesn't make things better for you all, that may be an ok tradeoff
#[pfefferle]Do you really think the two plugins is a big show stopper? I would argue that the issues and glitches are more frustrating than installing two plugins
#[snarfed]nothing here is a show stopper. but i personally think it's maybe the second most important thing to do to improve the wordpress indieweb experience overall
#[Paulo_Pinto]• hi. i am using LoveIt Hugo theme on my website. Documentations says: *rssFullText*: if `true`, the full text content will be shown in RSS. When I test my site's feed at webmention.app no webmentions are found. If I paste the note's URL, everything is fine. As I want to use the webhook with Netlify, I need RSS feed to fetch webmentions. Alternatively, I could run a curl command everytime I build my website. How can I embed a curl co
#[Paulo_Pinto]in my single.html? Thanks for any possible help.
#@WebReflectionmarkdown UX shenanigans 1. this is parent 1. this is child 1 * this is parent * this is child 1 one works, one doesn't ... the ordered list requires an extra space on the new line ... but *why* ??? (twitter.com/_/status/1270820434020372482)
