# [tantek] [mattl] the fact that so much of git's abstractions leak into user interface is absolutely unacceptable. Consider if WordPress, Wikipedia, etc. all had actions / verbiage based on SQL. Just as no one here would suggest UIs with SELECT WHERE or DROP TABLE etc., I find it unfathomable how folks put up with leaky git abstractions.
