Kolev Should I use WordPress or Haunt static site generator?
#
Lars-Christian Which do you want to use?
#
Loqi A content management system (often abbreviated as CMS) is software used to create, enter, edit, update, delete content on websites; some CMSs are used for IndieWeb sites, see the tables on this page for current usage https://indieweb.org/CMS

#
Kolev Lars-Christian, I don't want to have to implement a lot of IndieWeb stuff myself.
#
Lars-Christian What kind of indieweb stuff are you thinking about? I just have a website. Does the trick for me!
#
Lars-Christian If you're looking to implement all the bells and whistles, I guess I would focus on ease-of-implementation based on your comment above.

Kolev Lars-Christian, the thing that got me into IndieWeb was POSSE.
#
Kolev Maybe ProcessWire?
#
Lars-Christian I guess, with a static site generator, there are tons of ways you could POSSE. But if you want a pre-existing solution that's easy to setup, I think Wordpress would probably be the way to go.

[artlung] [Sophie_Young] Yes, what you'll need is described on https://wordpress.org/download/ - see _Download and install it yourself_ which describes the prerequisites, most of which are available on hosting platforms, and can be installed locally if you want to try it out. There's also a dedicated wordpress channel here if you have more specific questions.
