↩️ This is an important topic which needs a lot more attention. @palewire of LA Times data desk built a useful tool and @ricmac has documented his work in the area. a1 I have been trying to bring the philosophies of #IndieWeb and #OpenPedagogy to my classrooms. Something about giving kids a space online, the agentive writing. #satchat (https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/s/bBKcO)

↩️ Interesting historical fact for #satchat, #edcamp is based off of #barcamp which was started by one of the people who also launched @indiewebcamp. we need to bring #edcamp and #indieweb together (https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/s/20LFfS)

↩️ Baltimore would be your closest Homebrew Website Club. Then we have IndieWebCamp New Haven 3/30-3/31 and we hope to organize IndieWebCamp NYC again in the fall, but online would be the closest for you. (https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/s/1VBkdf)

Fixed posting from IndieWeb-compatible apps (such as OwnYourGram or IndieBookClub) if they sent categories along with the new post. I didn’t realize that OwnYourGram will automatically convert Instagram hashtags into blog post categories. Neat! https://ownyourgram.com/
