Anyone want to take a stab at writing a little section on what's acceptable to post to indie news?
#
jacky
aaronpk: sure! would this go in a PR or on its Wiki page?
#
[tantek]
aaronpk did we decide the actual intended scope of indienews? like is it just for indieweb or is it supposed to replace hackernews/reddit?
#
aaronpk
It's always intended to be just indieweb related topics
#
[tantek]
TBH I wouldn't mind the latter
#
aaronpk
jacky: feel free to start on the wiki page if that's easier, but either way is fine! It'll end up in the repo in the end

the latter seems like what https://indieweb.xyz ended up becoming

[manton] When creating the PR did you specifically mark aaronpk as the reviewer? Or did the repo automatically do that?

[manton]
[eddie] I assigned to him but just marked him as the review literally just now. So probably my fault he didn't get to it yet. Also, travel, I assume. 🙂
#
swentel
hmm dates for berlin are not right ? Unless that's the pull request :)
#

I think more of us can approve it, but I think because you assigned it to him it limited the reviewers to him 🙂 If it allows you to remove the "assignee" it may open up and allow others to approve it

For future reference: if you go to the “Files changed” tab there is a button for starting a review. I think everyone should have that one. After leaving a review that is an approval, the merge button in the GitHub UI should turn green (assuming it isn’t your own PR)
