[tantek]!tell aaronpk did we get video of [tonz]'s intro talk at IWC AMS? Just stubbed https://indieweb.org/2019/Amsterdam/Introduction (feel free to add photos/posts too). Also try /nick aaropnk and say hi to clear out that previous tell 🤦♂️😂
Loqi[Tantek Çelik] #indiewebcamp AMS @ton_zylstra: To me, the web was always about agency and providing ways for individuals connect to each other in ways they couldn’t before.

[grantcodes]Maybe a compromise is to explicitly say we'd prefer if you presented on the communal device, and if you need to use your own you can go afterwards to prevent so much switching
aaronpkYeah I'm considering bringing the SlingStudio. Tho lately I've found that some newer laptops don't play nice with it and I need to add a scaler between the laptop and the SlingStudio, which is what I did at the last donut.js
sknebelGuess I should somewhat announce this: won't be running vHWC for a while, so if someone wants to step up feel free. If you don't have them yet, we can give you the credentials for Zoom
[tantek]I’m kinda done doing demos in Chrome (too many subtle things are broken) and on laptops that pop up that stupid thesaurus / dictionary thing when you click the wrong place on the trackpad
[tantek]If we’re going to use a shared laptop it should have that crap click UI turned off and also be running Firefox so we can use that instead of Chrome if we opt for it. Preferably Nightly for the best CSS support
LoqiJust generated this week's newsletter! You still have a few minutes to make changes, and I'll re-generate it 10 minutes before it gets sent out at 3pm Pacific time. https://indieweb.org/this-week/2019-10-11.html
[Jon_Letts]Heya! Just joined from SF and wanted to get more involved in the community out here. I’m an organizer for humanitarianhackers.co and would love to support the movement.
gRegorLovedjmoch, do you have one other person interested? That's all it takes to get started really. I've organized many that were just a couple of us at a coffee shop.
