↩️ Similar: https://indieweb.org/Webmention I really just want to use twitter for comments on my static site, but I'm not sure it's going to work reliably :(

↩️ I hope so too. I'd love to see the principles and protocols of the https://indieweb.org/ folks really take off in webcomics (and everywhere else).

[tantek] I said I would make a few contributions to the wiki 🙂
#
capjamesg[d]
I think I'm done for now.
#
capjamesg[d]
The /reacjis page needs a bit of work but I didn't want to do any more without some direction.
#
capjamesg[d]
I haven't removed anything from the /reacji page just yet (i.e. the "How to display" section which I copied to the /reacjis page).
#
capjamesg[d]
I haven't done this before so did not want to attempt the whole thing in one go.

I apologise for that mess of a file upload log. I uploaded the wrong file and got a bit confused.

Excited for the response to the Personal Libraries pop-up. Wonder when we should finalize the date? Looks like Feb 5th and Feb 19th have the most responses. cc: [chrisaldrich]

capjamesg[d]: continueing here to not highjack #indieweb. The /audience page seems to be about limiting who can see a certain thing. The article I linked in the main channel uses the word audience to describe the real life concept of who something is meant for, rather than who is allowed to see it. I am not sure what the overlap in use of the term is for us
#
capjamesg[d]
I agree. I think we could maybe create a new page.

What are publics?
#
Loqi
publics are the combined set of people who make up the readership or audience of a post https://indieweb.org/publics
#
[KevinMarks]
Maybe there?
#
Zegnat
Yes, that seems to be the right page, [KevinMarks]!

Even if just single concepts start spreading outside of the direct IndieWeb sphere, I would consider that a job well done :D

@phirephoenix
↩️ The “people don’t want to run their own servers” point is a big blindspot for a lot of Indieweb efforts too tbh, and my personal take is that the problem isn’t centralization it’s scale.
