There are other things on the Fediverse besides Mastodon, though, and then I've also heard good things about the IndieWeb, though I haven't looked into it yet. @mattbd ↩️ If there was a halfway decent Indieweb option at this point I'd be happy to replace Twitter with that. Least worst one so far appears to be Known, but that's very primitive. The other alternatives are various Wordpress plugins (yuck!), a couple of paid services, and some scripts (twitter.com/_/status/1583488182745587712)
