[tantek] When I reverse it in Google Translate, "libris" translates to "books", whereas "bibliotheca" translates to library

jeremycherfas Doesn't Library imply publicly available, or at least to members of the library. Which is why we use the adjective Personal. So From the Books of seems more correct to me. I've never checked a book out of a library that had an ex-libris plate in it.
