# [tantek]2 Also it feels a bit odd for an indieweb community site to start "blessing" (and act as a gatekeeper of sorts) specific indieweb sites like that, without any context whatsoever. Feels very centralizing and frankly not great.

# 123nick well as someone who was new to the whole indieweb thing when i got here i had literally nothing to go off in regards to actually finding the indie websites. thats the primary reason the average user would be interested in the indieweb; finding neat websites. it took me asking around to find it, and i shouldnt have had to.
