@neojp PSA: People, stop using <div> for EVERYTHING. You can use <span> too. Specially if you are planning on using display: flex; or display: inline; to make them show up side by side. Zegnat It is a bit of a mixed bag still, [KevinMarks]. I just added the cc-public-domain-release template to my user page. But some people use non-CC PD releases.

Zegnat E.g. Dan Cederholm has a non-CC PD statement. So the high quality mf logos are probably PD released but not using CC-PD. (And thus maybe internationally not PD?)

Zegnat I am thinking of mailing Dan and asking him if he would consider writing a short statement putting the high quality design resources in CC-PD / CC0. And then I would prefer it we started hosting the files ourselves.

sknebel If I remember correctly, the location of the contributor plays a role. If you are somewhere that has copyright laws that all you to put something in public domain, that's likely to be recognized elsewhere. but if someone in a location where thats not a thing does that or contributes it gets tricky, which is why CC0 exists

btrem Hello. I created a new GitHub repo explicitly for microformats stuff: https://github.com/btrem/microformats

btrem I put a version of the mf logo in svg format in it, in the logos folder. I also put an orange version of it (similar to the one under "What are microformats" on the mf home page https://github.com/btrem/microformats

btrem And the license is, as requested, CC0 (technically, CC0 v1.0 Universal, whatever that all means!). I'm happy to upload both logos to the mf website when I get the green light.
