does anyone have write access to w3c/activitystreams?

does anyone know of a list of differences between AS1 vocab and AS2? because I really don't want to go through the spec myself :/
#
ajordan
cwebber2: ^^^
#
ajordan
cwebber2: how should I represent AS1 `comment` objects in AS2? `Note`s?
#
ajordan
more generally if you have some free time, I'd appreciate it if you could look over https://github.com/pump-io/pump.io/pull/1483#issuecomment-342046659, which is the current plan for normalizing AS1 vocab to AS2 vocab in pump.io
#
ajordan
lol I was *so excited* about finally shipping this but then realized I had to transform vocab as well as syntax :/
#
ajordan
that goes for anyone here, btw - would love as much review as possible on that comment

[ajordan] cwebber2: already implemented that. It doesn't help with vocab differences, only syntax. Unless I missed something

already got to see cwebber in person at TPAC! \o/
#
cwebber2
I guess it goes to say that I saw tantek in person too ;)
#
tantek
cwebber2: where do you want issues re: test suite and/or impl report filing
#
cwebber2
I also met Nolan of Mastodon development stuff!
#
cwebber2
tantek: hm good question
#
tantek
if someone gets blocked etc.
#
tantek
is there a github (stub) project to track issues for the AP test suite and/or impl reports?
#
cwebber2
Maybe I should have people submit to https://gitlab.com/dustyweb/activitypub.rocks which is where the implmentation reports are
#
cwebber2
I'm not sure everyone is on gitlab I guess
#
cwebber2
people could submit to activitypub's main tracker though maybe that would confuse things a little, not sure
#
tantek
Right, make a call either way. Feel free to include a short note perhaps at the bottom of that page indicating where people can file an issue if they have a problem with the test suite and/or impl report creation / submitting / updating.
#
cwebber2
tantek: good call
#
tantek
just trying to remove obstacles to getting reports :)
#
cwebber2
uh, anyone have an opinion of where issues should be filed?
#
tantek
as I'm pestering folks myself to file reports :)
#
cwebber2
well I already told people to submit reports to the AP repo
#
cwebber2
so maybe that's the right place?
#
cwebber2
paradox of choice is killing me here ;)
#
tantek
lol paradox of choice is not about only having *two* choices cwebber2 ;) (it's about far more than two AFAIK https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Paradox_of_Choice)
#
cwebber2
well there's one more!
#
cwebber2
https://gitlab.com/dustyweb/pubstrate is where the test suite actual resides (though it needs to be separated)

running into one asking for an impl report

tantek: put it on the activitypub issue tracker for now I suppose!
#
cwebber2
tantek: actually I take it back
#
cwebber2
looks like issues are already starting to move to https://gitlab.com/dustyweb/activitypub.rocks/issues
#
tantek
ok cool either way - just as long as your test suite / implr report page you shared above links to it :)
#
cwebber2
I'll add it to the test suite also
