I have the sincere hope that the work of creatives -- from code to poems to drawings to songs -- collectively enrich our lives, and every thing created is an opportunity to inspire someone else.

[fluffy] I’ve been burned out on programming for a long time and only want to work on code to support my other interests these days. I’ve been mostly trying to do music and occasional video editing for a living, and that work gives me energy, but I also have this damn chronic pain disorder.

jacky ticketing is a great example of that, imo, bringing consent into the flow of things (and moving away from the public-by-default approach nature of things)

[fluffy] Yeah ticketing is something I really want to see more widespread support for. Something beyond proof-of-concept.

[fluffy] But mostly I want a turnkey thing where people can be like, they add a single header to their website and bam, IndieWeb. And then they can incrementally add more stuff as they see fit without having to juggle a dozen protocols themselves.

jacky there's quite a few things that one couldn't do without having some level of understanding of either HTML and/or control of the site (beyond what you can do with theme editing, that is)
