# [chrisaldrich] If I'm reading [mrkrndvs]'s note correctly [https://collect.readwriterespond.com/aldrich-norbert-weiner/] it would seem he, I, and potentially kfitz are having some subtle issues with images on incoming webmentions.
# [chrisaldrich] All the one's I've seen seem to have properly marked up h-cards with appropriate u-photos, but the webmentions are showing the mystery person avatar on them.
# [chrisaldrich] Their other commonality is that they seem to be gravatar based, so it's almost entirely people with WordPress/Gravatar sites and micro.blog replies/responses that are defaulting to the mysteryperson avatar even when the Avatar field in Semantic Linkbacks has a workable/usable gravatar photo url.

# [mrkrndvs] Hmmm, not sure what my problem is, but I elaborated here https://collect.readwriterespond.com/aldrich-norbert-weiner/#comment-2926

# Loqi It looks like we don't have a page for "antispam-bee" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "antispam-bee is ____", a sentence describing the term)

# [chrisaldrich] GWG, the gravatars not appearing may also be related to https://github.com/pfefferle/wordpress-semantic-linkbacks/issues/200 as well. I notice that some gravatars which do show up initially, once edited, default to the (local?) mystery person image...

# [dougbeal] I was going to run the tests and see what they say and extend then for this case, but phpunit had some gnarly c dependencies

# [Chris_Lott] [jgmac1106] Then unless I am actually in transit driving from Alaska to Seattle, I shall take part in the IndieWebCamp as I can.
# [Chris_Lott] Thanks for the help here, everyone. Got things working on my site to a reasonable degree...even experienced the Gravatar webmention bug :)
# [jgmac1106] Ha ha😅 still have that. I am just blank face. Need to update my theme
# [Chris_Lott] My first webmention ever came through fine...it's me who was anonymized. Which made me laugh. I guess I need to upload an image to micro.blog instead of using Gravatar there. Have to admit, that first real webmention appearing on my site was a little exciting...a bit of the old web magic.

# [dougbeal] [Chris_Lott] I think that's a semantic link??? Plugin bug, going to spend some time tracking it down today

# [philbowell] I guys, I’m all a bit new to the Indieweb but enjoying exploring it. I have an issue with my WordPress blog and the IndieAuth plugin, essentially it doesn’t work. I get this error each time:
# [philbowell] ```
# [philbowell]
{"error":"parameter_absent","error_description":"Missing Parameter: redirect_uri"}
# [philbowell] ```

# [chrisaldrich] Good morning [philbowell], sorry to hear about the issue. When do you get that error? What are you doing with IndieAuth when that pops up?
# [chrisaldrich] For some history, there was a massive rewrite of the plugin a few months ago which added some SIGNIFICANT functionality. Bugs in certain cases and interactions with various micropub and microsub portions are still being worked out...
# [philbowell] Hi [chrisaldrich], I get it every time I try to login to something like Quill or Eddie Hinkle’s new app.
# [chrisaldrich] I know that many have been having issues using it to get into microsub readers... I don't know that I've heard anyone having issues using it to get into aaronpk's Quill though.
# [chrisaldrich] Are you running the current version, one of the earlier versions or one of the github branches?
# [philbowell] I have 3.1.1 installed, which I think is the current version.
# [philbowell] I changed the domain of my blog a couple of months ago from philbowell.com to philbowell.blog could that have something to do with?
# [philbowell] This is the first time I’ve tried to use it since then
# [chrisaldrich] I would expect that's probably not at fault.
# [chrisaldrich] Given some of the fixes that GWG has been working on recently, your best bet at the moment is to log the error as an issue in the GitHub repo (or add it onto one of the existing issues): https://github.com/indieweb/wordpress-indieauth/issues
# [philbowell] Ok, thanks Chris. I’ll do that now.
# [chrisaldrich] If you have the ability to turn on debugging and output logs relating to it, that might also be helpful.
# [chrisaldrich] What is WordPress Troubleshooting?
# Loqi WordPress Troubleshooting is a list of things one can try when asking for help from the WordPress Outreach Club https://indieweb.org/WordPress_Troubleshooting
# [chrisaldrich] There's an outline of how to do portions of it there^^.
# [philbowell] Ok, I’ll have a look at turning on debugging shortly. Added my comment to that issue.

# [philbowell] Ah ok, I’ve created a Gist as well
# [philbowell] The one from a failed login?
# [philbowell] Also on the Gist and Etherpad
# aaronpk what I don’t understand is that it recognizes that this parameter is invalid in this hacked up request https://philbowell.blog/wp-json/indieauth/1.0/auth?redirect_uri=foo

# [pfefferle] Can you try to disable the plugin that throws these warnings?
# [philbowell] Yes, I’ve done that but I still receive the same response

# [chrisaldrich] If you webmention my homepage I log them at https://boffosocko.com/mentions/. I've been contemplating individual pages like "followed by" or "invitations" so that those types which I would expect to be sent to my homepage would be able to be shown on the correct "page".
# [chrisaldrich] [dougbeal] feel free to experiment against my site if you like...
