[jgmac1106] @gwg don't feel bad it's more personal growth than anything wrong with WordPress. But I will document. My inability to send webmentions and not being able to resolve this after four months of trying probably biggest issue

[jgmac1106] But really I don't need WordPress anymore. Find it easier to write an html file than rely on klunky program. Thinking I will do some static pages and go back to Known on a subdomain for my blog and stream.

[jgmac1106] I don't think I had too many aivated, I even went and deleted a bunch, I think the addition of both the Mastodon plugin and all of the OStatus plugins may have slowed me down recently

[jgmac1106] that is causing the timeout issues, the webmention problem no one has solved, I can install. It will be quite some time before I jump ship, need to write my static pages first, while I evaluate, leaning to returning to Known, always treated me well

[jgmac1106] I tried this, installed all kinds of cron job plugins trying to schedule, to force them manually, bugging the crap out of me

[jgmac1106] I also think the site slowed down...alot when I added both Mastodon AutoShare and all of the fediverse plugins...I should try and see if togglign either or both off speeds up the time it takes to publish a post
