chrisaldrich If you hadn't said it, I wouldn't have thought to look, but there are different default public/private settings possible at wp-admin/profile.php and wp-admin/admin.php?page=simloc. What's the difference between those two?

chrisaldrich It might also be confusing for some people because OwnYourSwarm also has a public/private group of settings in it's dashboard....

chrisaldrich Being clearer about one being the global site default and the other as the current user default would be good. Then the one in the post becomes the per post setting that can override them all.

GWG The current user default only applies to the last seen feature, not the post feature, which uses the global.

GWG But I see how that might be confusing.
