dougbeal|mb1Any known bad interactions between AntiSpamBee and webmentions? I turned on site-site webmetions and everything more I send from https://hwc.dougbeal.com (sent via telegraph) gets rejected as comment_duplicate.
[tonz]It seems my efforts to add better language metadata to my site’s content isn’t picked up at least by Google translate, for ‘detect language’ they only go with the default language indicated, and ignore the more granular metadata for individual posts in a non-default language, and singular phrases in non-default language within a default language post. Does anyone here know if there’s other translation tools or sites out there wher
[tonz][jgmac1106] this isn’t for my site, but for people reading the feed, and then opening a post in browser. If the default language is set and different from your browser’s default language your browser can optionally auto-translate it.
[tonz]I have a Canadian friend who reads my and [frank] Dutch postings through translation. Frank’s site gets auto translated as it has Dutch as default, and sometimes English, mine doesn’t as its default is English, with sometimes Dutch and German. Not really WP I realise. Just a follow up from earlier linking to how I had added language metadata in WP. https://www.zylstra.org/blog/2019/10/adding-better-language-support/
[Rose]Would anyone else like the ability to limit the q=category MicroPub query to just WordPress categories? As in, that’s a setting I’d set in the backend of my site.
