#samwilsonI've been running some small mediawiki sites since about 2006. It's not too hard. For about the same time, I've run some wordpress sites, and I think the maintenance processes are pretty much the same in most ways. WP does a much better job of alerting you to things that might be wrong (e.g. upgrades available etc)
#LoqiAccessibility is the practice of designing so that people with disabilities can have equal access to information and functionality, applicable to both websites as well as physical environments https://indieweb.org/accessibility

#[jgmac1106]I have the hardest time maintaining mediawiki... not actual cost but the admin tax in just running and setting up...adding extensions is not for the feint of heart....then wikimedia updates and breaks all your extensions and you start over

#Loqi[Greg McVerry] I had 1,000s of community written book reviews , 100s of users, on wikispaces when that died. When I started over made sure it was on a place where I controlled.
